About God's ministry;
We are a multi-denomination ministry. We visit the sick in hospitals, homeless on the streets, visit various prisons to minister to inmates. and where ever the Holy Spirit leads us to go and do, we are there. The majority of our outreach is to bikers. We are not about pointing fingers or finding faults. Neither do we stand on tables at bars telling people to "repent". We are a light in the darkness, a group of guys and women who love the Lord Jesus Christ, and want to share His Love with the lost. It has been said that the only Holly Bible many people ever read is our lives. Many people seem to forget that the Holly Bible was not only meant to be read, but to be lived. That's what Brothers of the Cross is about, always witnessing and using Gods words as we lead buy the Holy Ghost.
The first word of the Great Commission is "Go". God never told the apostles how to go, just Go! This is God's command for every Christian, Go. We will not be content warming the pews in our churches. Nor will not be labeled limp wristed, good for nothing, Christians who are content sitting on their butts as a world dies and goes to hell. We have a duty, we have been commissioned by Christ to go and make a difference, We are a group of brothers and sisters who are empowered by the Holy Spirit and are willing to attack Hell with a water pistol if that's what we are called to do. We witness always and use words when necessary.
Brothers of the Cross M/M, and Sisters of the Cross M/M, is not a ministry for the "Christian" who wants to play church. Nor is it a ministry for the one who just wants to wear a cool backpatch. Brothers of the cross and Sisters of the cross is
a ministry for the one who is called and willing to get out of their comfort zone to live by the following verse;
If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. Luke 9:23-26 KJV
As a ministry we put Christ first in all. We are here not only to reach the lost, but to build each other up in Christ. We may be a small ministry right now, but God isn't finished with us yet. After seeking God he has made it clear that ministry is about quality and not quantity. We will never be able to shove the love of Jesus down anyone's throat. We are about Loving the lost where they are, and showing them that Christ will truly take them just as they are.
